  From ancient times, gold was the most important thing to express the valuable and powerful. Gold appeared much in West Africa, and it was used for things such as exchanging products, making jewelry, or doing art form. African people consumed gold to show the value of their personal status because it reflected how much wealth they are. The most important thing about gold is the value. Gold is able to be used globally . For example, it can be exchanged for money everywhere from small markets to the biggest companies. Gold also impresses other people in general look because it is really bright and shiny. The second thing is the variety of gold. Since the 15th century, most of  Africans' jewelry came from gold such as earrings, necklaces, and bracelets. Last thing, gold shows the special meaning of power and wealth. Gold can help people lift poverty. Besides that it also works for politics . For instance, rich country will be stronger than the others if there has gold. In conclusion , today African gold continues to survives and develops.
